Basic sentence

私は 東京に すんでいます。

Watashi wa Tookyoo ni sunde imasu.

I live in Tokyo.

Use

Used when talking about where you live or what you do.

Used when describing how one goes to or comes to somewhere.

Commentary

  • A. 「で」 indicates that N is a means of travel.
  • B. When asking what means of travel were used, 「どうやって」 is used.(①)
